Bet bubbs ears were burning tonight.
I cut up a full bubbs beef soaked it in red wine and cooked with celery, carrots, onions and mushrooms . It went in the oven at 11 this morning. At 4 it was as tough as old boots. At 5 no better. At 6 I checked again and still no better. Our guests arrived and I was intoduced to a lovely lady who had a degree in food stuff:rotfl: and other stuff I can't mention here:cool:
I honestly thought it was going to be a disaster I rolled my pastry while my guests chatted covered it and stuck it back in the oven for 30 minutes and when it came out it was perfect.
