We've done a circuit of the thrift shops this afternoon and I found myself a Boden top :j and also 2 perfect shirts for OH - he likes Sainsburys Tu shirts but they never seem to go into the sale in his size but now he has 2 shirts, one for £2.49 and one for £3.29 :)

I was hoping Sainsburys would have a clothing sale this bank holiday but it must be the bank holiday at the end if May instead. I had a look around the racks today, some nice tops with a sort if triangular cut out at the back but not worth £12

I did find reduced everyday knickers though so I am going to go and do a mass cull now - everything in the draw is going into the waste cloth bin tomorrow - time to be ruthless :)

Thanks to whoever posted about the Pampers at Asda. Relieved my tiny local of 5 carry packs at £2 each. Oddly, only the size 4s and 6+ were marked up at this. I would have scanned the other sizes, but DS2 was loudly telling other shoppers how much he disagreed with shopping!

    Evening luvlies

Think it may have been me :D, the smaller sizes are also £2 ;)

I found these today in my ex Netto - sel for size 4 was 94p, I bought the last pack on the shelf and then did a Lala and looked up. 5 packs of size 5's, couldn't find an sel for that size so took a chance and they too scanned at 94p.

They've changed the pack sizes so it's not the ones with peppa pig on the outside, it's the ones the same as in the pic :T

    Good morning everyone.

pd cake looks wonderful. How do you make the chocolate curls/ Mone never look this big & clean. thanks

I used a potato peeler on a 100g bar of white chocolate, over a bowl. Then used a spoon to transfer them (stops them melting everywhere!). Evening :)
