Afternoon everyone, was going to say good afternoon, but after reading the thread, I cant get into it.

I am finding the thread very upsetting and I am bowing out for a while, too much going on in real life for this lot to get me down aswell.

A dear friend has been diagnosed with something serious, and I am wanting to help her rather than waste my time going through loads of posts of you lot bloomin arguing over stupid things. Get a life.

Tinyshoes, hope you get all your kitchen sorted, looking good so far.

Bubbs, wishing you and your sister all the best, time is a great healer.

rhosynbach, hope all the wedding stuff gets sorted out.

Savvy, thanks for all your lists you have been a big help.

All the best snap, hope they find out whats wrong with your poor cat, which ever way it goes xx

    xx

Sorry to hear about your friend, hope you are okay. Take care xxx

I suspect that all this nonsense here nowadays is the doing of a singular person who holds a serious grudge against this forum for past events and will stop at nothing to see it closed.
The multiple AEs we've seen pop up recently are predominanly one in the same ie. someone having an argument with themselves to make it appear two sided simply to cause disruption and drag others in, some without even knowing it.
Far fetched, maybe ? But maybe not, you'd be surprised at some of the posting patterns that have cropped up over the past few months. They really don't take a lot of figuring out.

Posting patterns is way over my head, but I think you may be right.

Sweet Jesus this is getting so boring now.

You are all adults right? Why not act like it, stop petty squabbling and pointing fingers. If you don't like someone then don't interact with them.

No one owns this thread, or had any right to be here more than anyone else. So can you just give it a rest.

    The End.

Oh dear I forgot to do any reports or conversations for Fresh Flowers on Orchard. :o

I even took some pics back along.

Anyone else totally missed a program and still got invites for others?

I know when I missed one on Home panels I have never had an invited since. :(

On two occasions TS, I have missed doing reports.
I emailed them both times with an excuse as to why I hadn't done them and they were fine. They just took me off the programme, so it didn't affect my score.

    I have had invites since.:):)

On this note ....its got me thinking ...

but heres a dilemma that I now have...sorry rebecca I'm probably one of those posters you dont rate who perhaps post about their RL and potentially the posts you like to skip over because they have no shopping content.
...and I'm probably guilt of not posting much shopping content in my last 30 or so posts either....even by my own admission more words than deals.

I also understand your comments about using the ignore button...I have on occasion but actually sometimes you end up missing the odd gem of you do to much blanket censoring.

Until yesterday I didn't even have a thought about the report button...but I used it twice and in my mind for good reason...looking back on the thread it would appear that what I had an objection to,the forum team agreed with....there is no need to report if you simply don't agree with a post or it contains content that not to your liking,at that point you simply scroll on,I agree...but when the post blatantly attacks the character of someone or causes offence then there is every need to use it in my opinion.

I read the list last night that SFSB produced and shared with the thread...and I couldn't help but be reminded of a series of posts maybe last year where he was himself deeply offended because his name was "misquoted/misspelt by another user to give it a whole new more unattractive meaning.
Its a shame now that he has become the perpetrator of a list of equally demeaning or derogatory acronyms for other users of this thread.
I expected more from someone who previously has taken exception.

so here's my dilemma...to post or not or just ask those respectfully who don't want to read my posts to just put me on ignore....Genuinely I would rather not post than seek to offend.

....but I will post so its up to the elite to ignore me as they see fit.

:T:T:T I rarely find stuff in Ts now, so tend to waffle & post pictures, don't have an A$DA so can not participate - With you LEJC ♥ I love reading about tiles, chickens, bus rides, family stuff, pets, births, wedding planning, sad events in which we can virtually embrace people over the medium of this fine thread ♥
