Message for Hornet girl
Iva Barr aged 88 got to the 15th mile marker yesterday but wasn't feeling her best and used her wisdom as a experienced marathon runner to not run any further.
A very sensible decision.

The wedding was absolutely fantastic. Great ideas for Rhosy.
It started at 1 pm, to our beautiful friend walking down the isle (she looked a mixture of ecstatically happy, very scared and that she was squeezing her bum cheeks together to trying not to pump!).
As we went in we were given a scroll, which had some funny parts, lyrics of song and bubbles (Rhosy, the scroll worked really well, no need for bubbles)
The ceremony was great, very relaxed with toddlers running around, and the person doing the ceremony was really funny.
The meal was great (very posh!) but everyone on our table had a great sense of humour... our table became the naughty table!
The wine was free flowing. Rhosy there were wonderful little ideas, such as hand made names for people's seats, little decorations on the bottom of the glasses with the bride and groom's name on, and fabulous idea was they had printed the bride and grooms name and the date of the wedding on coloured paper which was cut out in hearts and scattered on the table (very effective and cheap).
There were loads of glasses on the table, for wine, water and the toast. as well as water jugs (this looked good), there was also a large vase of flowers (very good and cheap).
The day and evening really run into one, with us being sent to the bar where they had a family member taking photographs and another one doing magic tricks (both very good)....... whilst the room was turned around (we actually nicked all the part drunk bottles of wine, and went to book into our room... three bottles of wine later we arrived at the party!... with our handbags full of wine!!!).
The music was good dancing music.. 70's and 80's and we danced until 2 a.m. The following morning I picked up a flipped skipper of a yacht.... well I ended up with company as he was catching a flight from the same airport I was picking up DS1..:eek:
DS1 was an hour late, and then he had forgotten one of his bags, so we had to wait another hour... we went into the coffee shop and bumped into the skipper... well that was some explaining I had to do!! When we got home, OH had not even cook a meal, so I throw something together and the wine came out again.
All I can say is, I am now hanging!
Sounds Fabulous:T
Are we all wondering about the flipped skipper of the yacht :rotfl:
Bet he wondered what hit him:rotfl:To do is to be. Rousseau
