Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
    Good morning Elite :hello:

Cold, grey and a few drops of rain, when I say a few that's exactly what we got :rotfl:

Loving all the photos yesterday, especially the China that got personally delivered to rhos for her dd wedding.

In all the years I've been here with the Elute, I realise more and more why some folk can't believe or understand what we are about. The Elite have always tried their utmost to help folk out, with words and deeds.

Newbies find this quite alarming I guess, as normally forums are full of folk that you would not trust, but here on mse that is part and parcel of our threads. If shopping is all you want to know about there are other sites I believe. We can write page after page of drivel, page after page of photos, page after page of advice. Then bang in the middle a glitch or three, a good comparison. All well worth waiting for, and whilst we do we just chat. I love it here and love all of you here

Right, happy shopping, hugs to all those in need X

I'm off for a coffee, see you all later X
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)

    good morning all....

I'm still around but have had a mare of a weekend...

DS and OH have both been really ill with this cough and flu like bug to the point that both took themselves away to respective areas of the house over the weekend to sleep most of the day and cough continually most of the night.

I have said that if DS hasn't improved by tomorrow that its time for a dr's appt ...not sure what they can do but 3 weeks from his first exam of the season and we really can't afford him to be going into them anything other than well....he has gone to school today although again in honesty I'm worried about him spreading it all around too...its the last thing a 6th form need right now.

I saw the lovely cat pics that mhoc posted....and have to say I thought they were lovely...I'm not trained enough to say whether it was done with imagery or a real brush but I do know that there are some very talented citizens o a certain age in the US that can produce some lovely watercolours. We have visited many local galleries all over the states that are run by small groups of like minded people who are very passionate about their art....
We do have a few paintings we have bought over the years this way and sometimes a google can tell you a little more about the person who painted the scene.

I loved the pictures of the china Rhos....hopefully soon it will all start coming together and you can have a good sort through and send out a particular wish list of things that might compliment it or that you still need.

If the glitch fairy is around and taking orders....washing powder/tabs /liquid would be appreciated .....I've not bought any for almost 3 years and to be honest am completely out of the loop on a good or bad price.
frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

Has anyone received an email from Tesco about double up/boost coming to an end?

The facebook page is on fire with complaints right now but i still can't make sense if they are making the May double up event the last ever double up event or if they are talking about the xmas savers scheme. A lot of the people complaining are interchanging their words as though they are the same thing

Regarding washing powder if you have a waitrose card they have Ariel 24 wash gels on offer for 3 for £10.00 and if you add them to my picks you get 20% off on original price of £7.00 so you can get 3 for £5.80. I also got Fairy in the same offer but as they are £7.50 you end up paying £5.50 for 3 ( about .076p per wash )

Lovely pic of the china Rhos ( I will send mine later today) sorry was really busy over weekend as worked at London Marathon and did a 18 hour day yesterday.

    Hope everyone is well today
