I have the wonderful N coming for coffee. Hoping for tales of her posh rub down with a gritty flannel;)

In true elite style (and due to fact Hospital gave me no information or extra bandages for my foot, my personal :A is going to re bandage my foot for me.
It is fine if I carefully place flat on floor but starting to get the shocks if I move in any other way. Can see why it needs plenty of padding under bandage now, just find it really odd I wasn't told to go to nurse at Gp to get bandage changed. Not even a spare.
Not sleeping now and I think it is because I am slightly twisting it in bed and waking myself up. Doesn't help that I have a wooden footplate to my bed.
Anyway after tomorrow I should last a bit longer.

Looking forward to a coffee and natter and gives my wonderful mother a day off.

Planning to go to art on Wednesday as doing a wonderful project and I don't want to miss it. Mum has also booked me in for a special day of batik in July so hope to do some bigger chickens.

Don't think I am missing out too much on the shopping. If on my feet I might have done kettle bites but that's all.

Well enjoy, they look delicious. He doesn't make things :rotfl: he just eats what the food fairy brings him.

Ladies of the fylde and wyre.....we have Lady Di visiting this weekend.
Do we have a suitable venue to entertain her in? BQ....I believe you are the most knowledgeable about suitable venues I never go out so I know nothing. if its Sunny we can go and visit Squigs? if not do we have a contingency plan? I am collecting more china tomorrow,ready for the royal visit .I have quite a few pieces and these will add to them.
Regarding venues we have new Booths down road from me ,garden centres with food bet BQ will have more ideas.
