I heard a tribute to him today. Apparently his minders did just that. Someone recalled having a conversation through his minders even when he was just a metre away.

:hello: I found the £1.67 Chicken Breast Fillets quite easily, at my nearest A supermarket earlier today. Unexpectedly (maybe it should not have been) long BB date, and they can be frozen anyway, so I ended up going back to get some more. Many thanks for that information. Just one womble from today and it's hopeless from the start as they've got 50p Pot Noodles:(.

However, Morries comp. is interesting as to what they are buying, at the wrong time, in the wrong way - or, in the case of some items, they are right against M, but not on a shop with Pot Noodles.

No use buying Rocky Mint version - or falling for A's 2 for £2 mbuy.

SP Breaded Chicken Burger compares but, after having become rarer in M (at least for me), they are now more widely available (it seems) - it therefore doesn't tell us anything since I would expect that six stores now would pick it up in at least one of them.

The SP yogurts do not compare anymore - but, again, no clue - they stopped comparing against M after a temporary stock-out for a few weeks in M (they were never completely gone but I think they went enough and with SELs but no stock for enough time for them to drop off from comparing:( and they've never compared since) - I think they may now no longer think they are comparable against M because of slightly different flavours in M's compared to A's. They also do not compare against T on the 'new' APG - I think this may be due to issues with the description under the 'new' system.

This comp. is interesting as to which 4 for £2 CBY soft drinks do not compare against M.

Of course they did not realise it, but they've bought BE 12 pack Beef Burgers a few weeks after they went up from £2 to £2.50 in M:(. No use buying 90p frozen Beef Lasagne, and not much use (90p vs £1:() getting any of the r'back meals at all - they are buying them and making them low on stock though:( - please leave some for me to use as fillers vs N/A on a W shop since little at all else to go vs W at the moment with 2 different types of Mullers. I saw quite a few 'good' offers for W when checking earlier - but every one of the products not sold by A:mad:.

So, unless I go down the SP route (and lose a few pence on each one as nearly everything isn't 10% cheaper than one or more other supermarket), or go for 10p sweets and make the Mullers more expensive (as the 10p sweets aren't something I would otherwise have bought), or for a banana or two that doesn't compare, there's not much else. SP Cheese Slices at 42p are still good as they are N/A vs everywhere, and I also like SP Jaffa Cakes (only compare against S, much more expensively).

So, they got a full 'good' items right - the Viennese Whirls, SP Chicken Burgers, SP Chocolate Hazelnut, Fox's Rocky Caramel but with a wrong one and should never have gone for more than one anyway. SP Coleslaw was correct but they bought the Beef Burgers with Onion too late and shoudn't have bought any Pot Noodles.

I failed on the vodka today.
None at the seaside A and the other A there was only one left on the shelf.

I wonder in future if the person who just leaves one, when I need two could just hide it so I don't fret:rotfl:
