Ages since I have had time to be on here but just had an email from British Gas offering me free Hotel Chocolat chocolates! It seems to be linked to Nectar. I've just tried the link in an incognito window and it is linked to me so I can't post it. But look at your emails if you are with British Gas!

Says all gone for me through an email link.:(

I've just given a guy at work 12 cans as his benefits have been stopped as his wife has gone back to work but they would of been better off if she had stayed at home :eek::eek:

Help him to compose a letter with the figures and email it to your local MP - if you google it will give you an address - it won't solve the problem about benefits being cut but unless you tell MPs what actually happens in the real world they won't know

I thought I would give an update on my cat Pip,sometimes called pc49.sausage,or cotton socks.

When I picked him up from the vets they said he might not want to eat until today. If he does give him something light like chicken.

First thing he did was to go straight to his dish where he ate a dishful and wanted more.

I'm am hoping he might regain some weight now he has had his thyroid and his teeth sorted out.

He used to be over 5kg but now is only just over 3kg.Just skin and bones.

Have they given you a cocktail of drugs to administer? We had anti biotics and anti inflamatories to syringe into Treacles mouth each day - that was fun. Even better the meds came out of the fridge he would see me and run :)

Savvy.I never go in morries but made an exception yesterday.

BIG empty space but marked 50p on red salmon.Pink was there but sel said £1.23 I think.Didn'tbuy anything because it would have meant paying cash:rotfl:This was in the S.E

No good - I'm N/A as I didn't go into your store. My six price collection stores were elsewhere, so, sadly that's that. If only we could transport your 50p SEL to another M that has stock. Would you like to travel to Wrexham to put the SEL up?:rotfl: - er no:naughty:.

If I'd gone to your store instead of one of my no traces, of course I'd now have 50p and still have 40p with a three way tie - why are there so many different prices? - whilst I'd enjoy having 40p, £1.23 and £1.50 with three N/As, that's not really the point. It's been £1.50 on the real APG and that's that. It just shows, I think, how random it is going to be on these items. I suspect anyway - we don't know on others but, really, I think they all stand no chance now. Even though various Ms, and therefore M, are able to sell them for their real RTC price.

On the Red Salmon, it's most unlikely to be found with a 50p to pick up. Even though you have that very situation in your store. They are not 10% cheaper than M on any shop that includes it (assuming not already lost a lot of the APG on offsetting items) because their collectors cannot find it. So 10% cheaper guaranteed - unless it's not in a few price collection stores. People perhaps should buy it in A and complain as they aren't fulfilling their guarantee. Of course, to do that completely with M, they would have to have price collectors in every M store (on every day and update immediately and the ASA accepts twice weekly collection as reasonable) and they would have to work out successfully the pricing on every comparable grocery item that M stocks. They can go N/A on items that are clearly available in my local Ms (and I had this situation once and did contact them and disagree) because they have been OOS in a price collection store for more than 7 days, so that they think they aren't available when, in my M, they constantly are.

Then, sometimes, they don't link them back up when they eventually reappear or don't pick up weight differences that are maybe too subtle for them to notice sometimes - or slight differences in packaging, e.g. the Yorkshire Puddings, and maybe also the 1Kg carrots - they briefly changed to 2Kg for about two or three weeks - at least I think they did (unless there continued to be some rare version of 1Kg carrots on a different BC in some M throughout this period which neither I nor the price collectors visited:rotfl:) - this caused the 1Kg Carrots to drop off the system, probably rightly but I can't rule out that M that neither me nor them ever found - but since the 1Kg carrots have returned in M - they were only absent for me for a few weeks and probably physically for them too - they have never to my knowledge compared.

I think there is some technical issue in the system that isn't enabling them to pick them up. I don't think the collectors are missing them. Perhaps the collectors (but not A itself) are aware of the problem - I don't know - but they don't bother with it and maybe now they just know every week that the carrots aren't going to go "beep beep" just they just ignore them.

We had a job for the SP Yorkshires to compare in the first place. I think they took six months - or nearly that - to pick up the new product if M after the weight there changed and became the same as A's (it used to be the previous size that was same as M's back then and compared). There was simply a change in the pack colour in M which caused a blip of confusion and the comparison has disappeared ever since.

I still don't fully know what price the Yorkshire Puddings are in M. I come across occasional stores showing 49p and others show 48p. I even have one store that has both prices on different sections of the shelf. My money is more on 48p, but that's just because the majority of my test stores seem to be showing that and I come across that slightly more often, so I've gone with that - however I don't bother establish the actual price since these days they don't ever compare.

With your situation on the Pink Salmon, even assuming I pick all three positive stores (I'm now using seven rather than six) and I have four N/A stores now (I had just one N/A from six last time) - it's most unlikely that TBG, on three stores, would pick on three positive stores - I reckon it may now be N/A, N/A, N/A - it shouldn't compare anyway as it's RTC but... it seems that's generally not marked in M (maybe just my stores last time?) - on the three positives - and I think TBG is unlikely to get even one - assuming no RTC indication that causes them to exclude the price - it would be 40p, £1.23 and £1.50. No common price at all so it's N/A as there is no fair price to compare against:rotfl:. (The APG in this situation - and assuming they have three N/As from checking six as against T's 3 - should be 40p as it should take the lowest price. However, they got £1.50 from their stores last time. So I think £1.50 or N/A. Tending towards £1.50 as likely most stores with 40p - I had three other ones last time, now only one of them remains (and tomorrow, I suspect it will have gone) - will have been taken out (gone OOS, SEL removed, showing nothing now and have no stock). Assuming we have three positive price indications and the other stores in our sample all N/A (no stock no SEL or just no SEL), it would only take your £1.23 to change to £1.50 and the most common price becomes £1.50. So, Pink Salmon in M is £1.50 according to the price comparison.)

If anyone can help me with an item in M:rotfl:. I had an empty container in one store yesterday and with no product information or price labelling on it. So, if you can tell me which item I am now, in my store, without stock and without a SEL on, I'd be very appreciative:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.

Did I say that people perhaps ought to buy in A and complain when/if the APG doesn't give them the 10% off M that it "guarantees"? However, I'm not sure I would want to rock the boat during a period under which the APG is under review.

Meanwhile, on the Pro:Voke Liquid Blonde 400ml products, I don't think TBG would find them. I've gone through 6 stores yesterday - three of them properly (although I don't suspect the other I used would have them since I've been there before) and not found them now. I'm relying on msm/m.com - and I now see on there they have apparently gone up to £4, so I'm going to remove them from the list. I didn't pick the stores on the basis of none of them have these Pro:Voke 400ml products - I always aim to find as much as I can (and in any event I just had to use the stores that were convenient on a round-trip journey - I had to change my final store at the last moment and thank goodness most of my outstanding items turned up in there! So, six (the APG number probably) might be a matrix that pick up quite a few but every store has further items. I've never reached a point at which I've found no additional items in a next store*. And new items come in and ranges vary every day so I keep trying to chase them - and find yet more items that come into M.

I found another variant of a product yesterday (I mean an importantly different one, on a different BC), by using Wrexham, an item which I didn't have - even though I've been to Wrexham before and obviously the stores' ranges keep changing. It does depend on store - and I think my local usual main store maybe would not have given me at least one item Wrexham gave me - I will find out tomorrow when I try to track its price (it won't have changed - I suspect it's only just gone on offer, although that isn't marked as an offer on the shelf, just a straight price - perhaps why it exists in this store). I also think that I have picked up a number of items at my eventual last store yesterday that, on my original plan, are unlikely to be found in my main City store that I was attempting to travel back to but was just not going to make it before closing time. So I think I've actually done better (got more items) by going to where I actually ended up. Final store was of a similar nature to my main City store - and probably better than one of my other alternatives in fact - one of my usuals but can you believe I wasn't sure whether it closed at 9pm or 10:rotfl: - but knew the other one, the last one I actually then went to, which was nearer in distance, was 10 o'clock close - I did risk running out of time yesterday with too many important items outstanding because of how many pricing conflicts I had to resolve or wasn't sure whether offers had really ended (some of them had not! - but others had) because the SELs are "not always right".)

I think TBG is bound to miss several of some ranges of products by checking only three Ms.

It's not a criticism, of either them or the APG, but it's just how things would appear to be to me.

*On one occasion, I got only four, but on the next store after that, I picked up about 22 more items that I didn't already have. Usually, I get a lot more than four - that's my lowest occasion yet and it doesn't happen at all often.
