    Good Afternoon :)

DS got phone call and went to the hospital.

He got both arms plastered just above elbow.

He got to keep plaster on for 6 weeks and not got it wet  in North West lol

Also mum been Christies today for check up on her face (skin cancer she had radiotherapy on) Will update when she rings me.

I'm a little in awe of this tweets and know nothing about how restrictive a cast can be let alone 2 ....but is your son going to need help with basic things or is there quite a bit of movement having both arms in plaster?
Without getting too personal...what about things like washing and shaving and even things like cooking...or has he got someone who will help him.
I'm intrigued on this one and my mind is thinking of the negatives I guess rather than the positives...but I've never had to deal with plaster casts before so don't have a clue

hope mum gets the news she needs too....

squigs....I found a recipe in my grandmothers cook book for spiced redcurrant jelly...It may not be what you are looking for...

Thats a straight lift from her cook book...:)

    Thank you!
    That is perfect.:)

I will definitely try this, as when I looked at a few wine recipes, it looks like I have to have quite a bit of specialised equipment and also time, neither of which I have at present.

Wine making will be put on hold for the moment.:D

I have been told that carling were doing some updates over the weekend concerning their certifications which is why some couldn't access it on saturday and some on sunday....all should be back to normal now but they did take elements of their systems offline

The vets have rung.My cat is ok.He's had a thyroidectomy and 5 teeth removed. It wasn't without risk because he's 17.

Thanks for all the good wishes.
I've got to pick him up at 5.30.

Tweets .I'm glad your ds hasn't got to have an operation but I expect it will be a struggle managing with both arms in plaster.
