Elite Events, even? I really like that one...
We were at an event last summer where there was a tea tent on this theme. Chatting to the man serving us he said it was his first booking. They were doing a roaring trade. Hope he is still going. it was a lovely idea.In a world where you can be anything, be kind. (Caroline Flack)

Good morning.
Hope everyone is ok.
This morning I have a husky voice and jelly legs.
I sang and danced my butt off last night to a very cool rock band.
And I'm not even suffering this morning from the rather fast flowing drinks that were consumed :j
How's everyone today then?Life is not about learning to avoid the storms - it's about learning to dance in the rain.0 -
Good morning all, raining here again.
Really need to get the old fence panels moved off the lawn but that is not happening today.:o Indeed, catering fridges for just in case, stored...
But it's their 60th Wedding Anniversary in September so no doubt they will have a party. Mum won't trust anyone to do the catering as well as her (like their 50th) & insist on preparing all the food...
But my sisters & I are ahead of her this time & already on to the WI;)
Rung for the card from the Queen today, but it's too early. Marked it on calendar to do in mid July - do remind me please:o
Snap, probably a stupid question as you are so well organised, but you do know you need a copy of the marriage certificate to get the card from the Queen don't you?
MiL was totally made up when they got theirs throughShe carried it around in her bag for months, it might still be in there

Not just sleet or wet snow ...bloomin great big flakes of proper winter snow.

I have a horrible feeling that we Northerners may have one of those stupid years where we go from chilly wintry days right into summer without any mild Spring days in between.
I really want to be wrong about this.“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -
Morning all

It can be - the Monday price update - as early as 8.40 on Tuesday morning - that was exceptionally early though. Usually seems to be settling around 7/8pm of the day after each collection - so 7/8pm Tuesday and 7/8pm Thursday - however sometimes it may not be updated on those days and could be the next day. We've had failed shops on Tuesday evening because the prices didn't update until Wednesday. So, I always leave for two days now unless we know there has been the update. And I'm leaving a clear day i.e. until the evening of the Wednesday or Friday just to be sure that the update has happened.
im doing a cc for hopefully later today, should i add 1 of each of the salmon tins. do you now think prices may have changed since squiggles shop0 -

:) Same here, Fourp did wake me up at silly o'clock to tell me but all I could think about having to change my funeral attire to accommodate snow boots (and where are they?)

Yes - this was going to be a problem as it wouldn't of been a surprise.
But you can ring the certificates office & give them the time & date of marriage & they will confirm this with Buckingham Palace - need to do within 6 weeks - so remind me in July pleaseOur Family Motto ~If all else fails - read the instructions...
