Minor rant for today, why do some banks insist on a phone or in branch meeting to discuss an application ... including for a S4ntander Regular eSaver ... from an established S4ntander account?

What a waste of my time  It should only take a couple of minutes online!

    ... and breath :)

HSBC insisted I had a meeting with the actual bank manager to open a pocket money saving account for my 7 year old and we are all existing customers. What a waste of money and time!
