I can see Sal was trying for the mbuy glitch on the tunas and presumably not putting her eggs all in one basket as she chose two of each. However, I can tell you I was not going to glitch.

So, Wednesday last week would have been:

1 YOO Premium Hotdogs - 25p:D (she'd have got the M price - seen in half of my stores - the others n/a)
    1 Red Salmon - £1.00:) (which was last week's M price)
6 Pink Salmon - 6x 80p (last week's price, all six stores gave me this:))
2 Tuna in Sunflower 2x £1.00 I actually had £1.00 in two stores and £1.50 in one, on both versions of the tuna, but picked £1.00 as the most common prices - the other stores were n/a.
2 Tuna in Spring Water 2x £1.00 £1.00 in three stores, £1.50 in one, two n/a - £1.00 took over as majority of stores with price had this. Although I didn't glitch, she would have got straight 10% off £1 on all of the four she bought (which, last week, perhaps wasn't a bad price).
1 Asda Biscuit Selection 10p:j:D:T:T I picked the price up, in one store that didn't have any stock - it was the first time I'd seen the OOS, or indeed the product at 10p, but that was fine as I hadn't had it OOS before. I found stock of the product in another store but that doesn't count (no SEL) and found no trace everywhere else.
    1 Cadbury's Fudge N/A:( (I didn't have it)
1 Cadbury's Crunchie N/A:( (again, none of the six stores. But...do I have them now?:D)

So, last week, the results would have been what I believe to be the true M prices on all the items except the funsize chocolates.

If she'd shopped on Tuesday and assume we are on Monday:

1 YOO Premium Hotdogs - £1.00:eek: Worse than previous collection. I had one store with incorrect SEL - the only store with any stock - and no SELs or product anywhere else. All the other stores, if they had had it, were now sold out. None of them had any SELs now up, so I couldn't get any information from there. They scanned as 25p in the store that had the wrong SEL. I know the price. It is irrelevant: the SEL is taken.
1 Red Salmon - £1.00:) Still in two stores for me (both had £1 SEL) - this is one fewer than what I had the previous Wednesday. But, still hanging on.
    6 Pink Salmon - 6x 80p Still 80p on Monday.
2 Tuna in Sunflower 2x £1.50:eek: Now only in the one store with the wrong SEL and the other stores now no trace at all (no product, no SEL).
2 Tuna in Spring Water 2x £1.00:) (Last week's M price - not as good as now) £1.00 SEL in one store and £1.50 SEL in the other, n/a everywhere else but chose £1 as the lowest price
1 Asda Biscuit Selection £1.50:eek: Found in one store, with an incorrect SEL, store had stock as well but I didn't need that*, now no trace (no SELs, no product) anywhere else.
    1 Cadbury's Fudge N/A:(
1 Cadbury's Crunchie N/A:( (Still not got the funsize packs that I suspect are still 43p in M - and have recently been reconfirmed as such on hotdeals. I think most people will not have them in their M however - you therefore will not find them. You might have a chance of finding them if you are in Burton upon Trent or another such rare M. I have had them in only 1 store out of 80 - which was Burton upon Trent several months ago.)

She'd have been better buying last week than buying on Tuesday. I've gone up in price on the items highlighted - and particularly on the biscuits selection:eek:.

*I mean I didn't need that to obtain the £1.50 price for this game. I did need it however in order to buy some of the product myself:rotfl::rotfl::D. In fact the price I used was 10p as I knew it was really that; however under this game I obtain £1.50. The product isn't really available in A, so you would have to buy in M - if you could find it. (I think someone will still have it in their M - it will be in a store that has £1.50 unchanged SEL like the one I saw - it may no longer be in the store I saw as I bought all that was out on the shelf - or maybe it will be on an RTC shelf but with no price label up.)

So, how do you now get higher prices than what really applied Savvy?
The answer is that the only store(s) that now had the product were ones with incorrect SELs and the product had vanished from, and the SELs had been removed, in all the stores that had previously shown the product at the lower price.

So, the one that counts (for the game).

1 YOO Premium Hotdogs - £1.00:eek: Now found in two of my stores with incorrect SEL and nowhere else.
1 Red Salmon - N/A:( No trace whatsoever in six stores.
6 Pink Salmon - 6x 40p:j All stores still with it. However, one of the stores, that I have seen on Thursday, now had very little stock indeed - just two cans left - so, if they don't have anymore, I can see the SEL being removed and then that will be N/A on Monday next week. I can see this is unlikely to last through the weekend shoppers in any store that has 40p on the SEL. I think that, even if they have picked up 40p for the real APG, which we don't know but I think it does stand a good chance, it is likely to be picked up at 40p for the first and last time and I can see it being N/A on data taken on Monday.
2 Tuna in Sunflower 2x £1.50 Just in the store with the wrong SEL again:( - I thought to scan it, as it was the only store now for me with every previous one that day having no trace. It scanned at 50p:D. However, under this game, you get the incorrect SEL.
2 Tuna in Spring Water N/A:( It looked like it was holding on better and was going to be the one to buy, if you'd bought last time, seen the Sunflower fail and now thought you needed to stick to Spring Water. However, it had now vanished from the stores which had it at £1 before and had now gone from the store that even had £1.50 last time.
1 Asda Biscuit Selection N/A Now not got it anywhere, but it will still be around in M! (NB: This A product is fictitious.)
    1 Cadbury's Fudge N/A
    1 Cadbury's Crunchie N/A

I'm so fed up I'm not going to work out what her APG would have been:rotfl: and, anyway, it is neither use nor ornament (perhaps fortunately on some of these results:)) as it is most unlikely to be what the real APG will actually have. If, instead of the Premium Hot Dogs, she'd bought the American ones, she would have had 25p last week, N/A on Monday (not £1 - wasn't stocked in the store that had incorrect SELs) and N/A on Wednesday.

A little plea on behalf of one of our esteemed users here. Underperky hasn't managed to donate to the grand national sweepie yet but would dearly like to do so.

Does any kind soul have the links to hand? I'm on my phone and it's not easy searching. I'm happy to send her the links as she may possibly miss them on here. Also happy for someone to PM them to her, she always eventually picks up her PMs.

She is also possibly the nicest, kindest, most decent human being I've ever had the pleasure to come into contact with. Thanks in advance for any help :heart2:
  • Just found a whole shedload of pink salmon @ 40p in swadlincote morries.
    lol
Went back at 7pm and cleared out the last 40 odd tins.
Couldnt believe it was still there.
I posted on here, it was posted on HDUK, and I told three checkouts and a few customers.
    Happy daze.
Might pop in Friday in case they re filled.:rotfl:Surely its cheaper than cat food ?
