Had a lovely mooch round the charity shops this morning. Not too much available, vintage is obviously the in thing, but I did find these if any help:

The handle is a bit loose on the cake slicey thing but DH will have a go at fixing it. If he fails I'm sure one of your clever boys can fix it rhosynbach.
If there is still room in Juju's car, I could potentially make the drop off point next week, just waiting on hearing when carpenter is coming round. If I can't make it, I have a plan b up my sleeve :)
wow they are lovely she is going to be so chuffed, thanks so very very much. xx

Rhosy really excited people are emailing me via free cycle offering cups saucers and plates :j:j I am ringing them later to collect two people up to now :)saying they have roses on them perfect.
how wonderful thank you so much i am totally speachless, so very very kind.
    Rhosy,

Just been in DS1's bedroom, and have seen 100's of small black velvet bags if they are any good.

Possible favour bags (but not the right colour).

DS1 has a little business where he buys/sells things. Some thingamabob camera accessory comes with these bags, he takes them out to post (as it apparently means that the package to post is considerably cheaper) and there are rather a lot... let me know if they are any good and I will pop them in the post. It is not a good picture... they look much better than this.

thanks ssm will show dd tomorrow and ask her as we have small pastel roses so could sew a rose on the bags for favour bags xx

I can recommend it for anyone who gets stage fright.....no talking needed.

People congratulated me but I know they were just being kind:rotfl::rotfl:

    is your floor level yet?

How have you managed all these years....I imagine it like being on a ship with all your glasses sliding off the worktops:rotfl:

I am sure you are selling yourself short. ;) Well done on giving it a go :T, I think I would rather just talk, I'm quite good at that. :rotfl:

Tiler coming to lay first layer on Monday apparently one is not going to be enough.

I know I am wondering how we managed too, no wonder all the peas used to congregate in corners. :p

We did have a washing machine flood once and all the water pooled over other side of the room so we did have an idea part of it was downhill.

When it's finished there will be a tiny step up into the kitchen so I have said there will need to be some sort of graduated threshold, hark at me knowing what I am talking about. :rotfl:

    Evening

    Im not playing:rotfl:

    Paying in cash.Whatever next:eek:

Yes I understand. Maybe I should be the first one to play - as I know all the answers:D. Did you notice what the products were on the BCs that I posted earlier? (My £6.99s on the womble.) I don't know how you get product information but I know you do. [EDIT: I've already checked the receipt now, so I know what they are.]

If someone wants to play the game and is the only one that does, you'll be the automatic winner!:) Unless you lose everything in case I've picked up much higher prices for M making A more than 10% cheaper or go N/A on everything you 'buy':D:rotfl::rotfl:.:(

I just gave it a go anyway - and, just my luck, more than 10% cheaper:(.

    They bought these useless things:rotfl::

5 items (4 different) on your receipt qualify for comparison Asda morrisons
    1x ASDA Grower's Selection White Mushrooms (400G) £1.00 N/A
    1x ASDA Butcher's Selection Bearnaise Sauce (200G) £1.00 N/A
    1x Freederm Gel (10G) £3.50 N/A
1x Ogx Sunkissed Blonde Lemon Highlights Shampoo (385ML) £6.99 N/A
1x Bodyform Super Wing Ultra Sanitary Towels (12) £1.00 £1.77
    1x ASDA Fresh Milk Semi Skimmed (4PT) £0.89 £1.00
    1x ASDA Grower's Selection Unwashed British Sliced Curly Kale (200G) £0.97 N/A
    2x ASDA Butcher's Selection Prime Beef Rump Steak (255G) £7.00 £8.16
    1x ASDA Extra Special Tenderstem Broccoli (250G) £2.00 N/A
    1x ASDA Grower's Selection Raspberries (150G) £2.00 £1.86
    1x V Water Ginger & Mango Drink (500ML) £1.00 N/A
1x Ogx Sunkissed Blonde Lemon Highlights Conditioner (385ML) £6.99 N/A
    1x ASDA Grower's Selection Cherry Tomatoes (365G) £0.79 N/A
Comparison total (compared products only) £10.89 £12.79
    cheaper +£1.90

With those good potential £6.99 items that are much much cheaper in M, I never stood any chance of them buying them did I?

They don't even pick up the Curly Kale which is cheaper in M:(. I think it is the fact the A one is called "Unwashed" that makes them see M's product as non-comparable, rather than them not having any Kale in their Ms. Mind you, with the price collectors and fresh veg. I wouldn't trust them... they don't even get 1Kg Carrots, Salad Cress or Loose Ginger or Garlic any more let alone hoping for any Princes Red Salmon with them! I'm not sure on the Cherry Tomatoes now either or the V Water Drink.
