Hello everyone, I'm just back from a wee holiday and while I won't be able to catch up totally I've read a few pages.
Rhos what an awful thing to happen but with the elites help i'm positive it will all work out and your DD will have a fabulous wedding day. I will check out charity shop tomorrow, can I just be clear it's mainly teacups, saucers and side plates with anything else being a bonus but they don't all have to be from one set?

All the other Princes tinned fish, as far as I have been able to check, have gone to half of the price they were last week. Princes Wild Pink Salmon (213g) is 40p, the Mackerel Fillets tins (125g) are now 25p, the Tuna & Mayonnaise is 25p and the 3x80g tunas are 50p:). I only checked the 3x80g tuna that I had as my store was still showing the £1.50 RTC label to see if they were still £1. Well, no, actually 50p!:D

Meanwhile I've found the Princes Pink Salmon at 40p in all three stores I've checked today! I found a single unit of stock of one of the Mackerel fillets whilst I was moving out all the Pink Salmon to see if there was any Red Salmon mixed in. There wasn't - but, on the basis of the one Mackerel Fillets version scanning at 25p, I take it all the rest that were RTC are also now 25p.

There may also be some Beautiful Ends* own label shampoo and same thing of conditioner (400ml) in your M now at 27p:). Paying for shampoo/conditioner:eek: but, let's face it, it is better than the Savers stuff.

I have literally got to go straight out - so no time to stop as I have an event arranged for half past six. So, I'll see you later!:):A

See - I'm good at working out what the prices might be aren't I? No Red Salmon or any SELs at all in my 3 check stores today. I found the Mackerel Fillets to be 25p purely by chance. I imagined the Red Salmon was 50p only after finding that. I wouldn't even have gone on to enquire into any of them if my store hadn't had the unchanged £1.50 RTC label on the version of 3x80g tuna that they still had left. If it had said £1 RTC I would have taken it as that. With the £1.50 however, I wondered whether it had increased in price to the £1.50 RTC price. (You might think this sounds strange - but in fact it appears some Frying Pans today, that previously went down to £3 RTC, are now on was £5 now RTC £4! I do not know how they can say that £4 is reduced - they were marked £5 on the products but scanned at £4 - as if the SA at the till thought that was any better - I was looking for £3! Maybe they went down to £3 in other stores but have only, now, gone down to £4 in the store I've checked today. Or maybe there are very slightly different ones on different BCs - I have that situation on another item today, and a correction to make as there are in fact some Scissor Tongs at 48p. More on that later.)

On the Princes fish products, :eek:what are the Pilchards? I don't have those:rotfl:. Didn't even know there were any pilchards that had gone down to 50p let alone 25p:doh:! (Obviously 20 separate stores isn't enough:rotfl:.)

So, if the store hadn't had the wrong price on the 3x80g tuna - I thought it might now be £1.50 RTC having been £1 RTC on Monday - and then if I hadn't thought to check for the Red Salmon but found the tin of Mackerel Fillets instead, I would just have had the Pink Salmon as going down to 40p and known about none of the others.

I have not seen any 50p SELs or any product at all from my 3 stores today. Neither was I in Cwmbran:rotfl:. Of course there's a chance the price collectors were in such a store, but I think it unlikely. I think otherwise to stand a chance of finding any stock, you need to have a store that still has old pricing on the shelf. I knew the Red Salmon would be around but, to be fair, I have seen them vanish completely from several stores and not left with as many of them with them in now as I had before. In fact, gone from 2 or 3 to zero! I think last weekend's price, when the weekend shoppers paid twice what they should have:eek:, was enough to get rid of them from many Ms - and I don't think they are going to get them on the APG. Have we checked the Ye Olde Oak Hot Dogs to see if they have gone down further? There's a possibility - I think a slim one on this - that they could have gone down more, but as far as I think they are still 25p. I can find no stock of them in any store that previously had them at 25p - so it's going to be stores that have £1 unchanged price that are most likely to give us any answer to this one.

The Shampoo/Conditioner is actually called "Big & Beautiful". They are the ones that have already been on my list, at a much higher RTC price:rotfl::eek:!
