Good move on T's part again. If people have got a BM which they forget to use and it expires and Sainsbobs won't accept it, they can go to T instead - and are likely to use it off a much higher cost full shop: so T gets their weekly shop for that time - just a few pence probably envisaged as the BM, they don't expect people like us that get nearly £10 each time. And people are probably more likely to forget to use smaller vouchers, so may just have it in their purse/wallet and happen to be shopping at T sometime in May. They may well stay at T from then on in, particularly as Sains isn't continuing to run the BM.

They could go back to the old PP and hook people in though - because TBG gives no incentive to return. They could. It would be nice if they did (particularly as it enabled us to use cond spends without now reducing our bill:( and being thwarted thus making our shopping more costly). However, I don't think they will.

bless you Malc...your words are kind but were you reading the same thread as the rest of us....if you want a bit of banter thats in short supply here at the moment ...but we will re find it I'm sure and you can pop back for a coffee and a piece of cake soon

I've been having a wonderful exchange today with a rival energy company who it transpires need a meter reading from 2013.....if they've not had it by now then there's not much chance of me retrieving it ...but hey ho at least I have the proof I paid the bill and that was an actual reading ,not an estimate....I think they referred to it as a glitch in their system to which I just had to reply "thats not my idea of a glitch."

Thanks so much for the offer of a cuppa and cake LEJC. How can I possible say no to such a treat?:coffee:

Hope you won't be offering our rivals similar treats. Glitch or no glitch. :rotfl:
