Hello,
In short-I was rota'd 2 nights annual leave at work last month. I contacted my assistant manager who does the rota, I told her I had no remaining annual leave and had not booked the time off. She told me (I still have the emails) Head Office told her I had 2 nights annual leave left to take which is why she rota'd it.
So I took it.
Then I didn't get paid for it!
I contacted her again and she said she only gave me what head office told her I had.
I contacted head office who have told me the assistant manager must have enquired before I took my last lot of entitlement (which surely if she hadn't noticed, she should have double checked when I questioned it?), so they won't be paying me.
So in short- I told them I had no leave left, they said I did, so I tool it, and they won't pay me for it.
I can't afford to lose out on 2 whole shifts pay!!
Citizens advice told me to put In a grievance against the manager.
any other advice gratefully welcomed though!
I leave the job at the end of this week anyway (I gave my notice, I'm going elsewhere) so I've nothing to lose.

Raise a grievance as mentioned but leaving actually puts you in a weaker position because frankly you are not going to take them to a tribunal over a mistake and as such they could, if they wish just fob you off.Hello,

If you still worked for them you could keep being a PITA to them that they might just sort it for the sake of two days pay.Don't trust a forum for advice. Get proper paid advice. Any advice given should always be checked0 -
You said it was last month, by the time youi leave you will have accrued 2 days holiday at least.
So you have lost out precisely nothing cash wise.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0
