DMP and ppi

We are seriously looking into doing a DMP. The two loans we have are covered by ppi, by going on a DMP can anyone tell me if this will make the ppi void?

Comments

  • Anyone please?
  • We are currently on a dmp and the cccs asked us to write to one of our creditors to ask for the payment protection insurance to be removed. Hope this helps a little, not sure if this helps but sure someone will be along soon who knows more about this Good luck Cat
    1. DMP started July 07 £25.000
    2. July 09 £18.000 :D
  • Did they remove it without any hassle and did you get a rebate on the ppi? I did phone one of ours up a few weeks ago and was told that I would have to take out a new loan and the rebate would be taken off the balance of the old loan.
  • Forgot to add that instead of saving £66 per mth if we went ahead it would only be £10.
