Working two jobs

Hi Folks!
I'm currently having a change of job situation and have the option of working two jobs but I have no idea what the implications are tax wise etc.
Effectively I currently work in Job A. In a couple of weeks I am due to leave this job and start Job B. Both are full time. However Job A have offered, rather than ending the contract, to drop me to zero hours and allow me to come in for a few hours a week to earn some much-needed extra money as and when I am able (Job B shifts are very late meaning the idea would be to go to Job A for a few hours in the afternoons).
So.
Do I need to actively tell HMRC about this? With me not actually leaving I'm assuming there'll be no P45 (or anything) issued, My new employer will be submitting a P60, so unsure what HMRC will find out and what I will have to actively tell them.
What tax codes will I be on for each job?
If my "Second" job is taxed higher as such, how do I ensure they tax the higher rate on Job A (The original but now part-time job) and not my new full-time job?
If you know of anything else I need to be aware of on top of all this please enlighten me!

The simplest way is for job A to issue a p45.
Otherwise you'll need to speak to payroll in your new job, ultimately you won't lose our0
