Clarity halifax loans advice PLEASE HELP 😔

Hi everyone I have a halifax clarity loan two of them ones 950 loan I pay back 54 pounds a month. I have a remaining 22 months left to pay on that one

The other one is 2960 loan I pay back 153 a month. I have a remaining 30 months left on that to pay as well

I have had payday loans before a 100 pound here and there but have paid them back. Never missed a payment. I also have a overdraft of 1100 I take home 1298 a month

I'm really struggling with the money I'm left with every month with the apr on top. I was wondering if any of you new if I could maybe get another loan from another bank with lower Apr perhaps and a longer loan so I pay back less so I can pay of my separate loans and have just 1. Or maybe you have some advice you could help me with. I'm really worried I also have crohns disease and depression it's really getting me down

Thanks in advance

Hi Wozza and welcome to the forum.

First of all, rest assured that there's nothing here we haven't seen before, and that there are always solutions if you ask in the right places.

You would do well to start by putting together a Statement of Affairs (make some estimates if you're not 100% sure of certain figures) and pasting it here so that we can see exactly what your income and outgoings look like:

Secondly, you ought to seek and open a "basic" bank account at the earliest opportunity - this should be with a bank you owe no money to. If you then arrange to have your salary redirected into that new account, it will at least mean you are not having interest and charges docked at source.

I'll wait to see your SoA before making further suggestions, but it may be you're better served by negotiating lower repayments to your existing debts, rather than trying to take out yet more credit to pay them off and thus robbing Peter to pay Paul.

    Welcome Wozza

Please complete the SOA and we will be able to help.

Make sure you include accurate figures for your current spending. For example there is no point in putting in zero for entertainment unless that's actually the case (which is very rare).
