I have received very good advice today from you kind people about contacting the CCC, one question, once everything is set up what happens if you have an unexpected bill eg: car! I have to have one to do my Job

You need to make sure you add into your budget a small amount for servicing etc (think they suggested £20 a month to me) which you then need to save up.
Erm if this isn't enough then (like me the last few months) you can use the clothing money, prescription budget, some of the food budget etc etc.Newlywed at the point I joined the forum... now newly separated0 -
An amount for car repairs and maintenance should be built into the budget you complete with the CCCS. You then put this figure to one side to save uo for an emergency situation

You need to budget, in your Income/Expenditure statement for car maintenance, as best as you can - there will, unfortunately, always be the odd thing that you haven't budgetted for - it's called Sod's Law.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
