Capquest and Egg

Hi, I have just started out a new business and borrowed some money to set it up, I have always been very aware of trying to keep a good credit score even thou I owe a lot of money.

I accidently fell behind on an Egg loan (total £17000), it was then referred to Capquest, after paying off £1500 for a few months I was given a settlement figure of £9200 which needed to be paid by the end of July. Some how I managed to do this, however I am now concerned as it still says on my Egg account that owe £2800, apparently this is being written off, but more importantly I have a default on my credit report.

Please can someone help me and guide me, can I get this removed???, shall I phone Egg about this amount being written off????

What can I do if anything.

Many thanks in advance

Nookie
