Remortgage my property to gift my brother

Hi,
I own a property that is currently let out, and does not have any mortgage.
I would like to help my brother by buying him a property, can I remortgage my let property for purposes of either raising funds to gift to my brother so he can buy, or buy a property and gift it to him?

One for the brokers
You can do what you like with your money and property.
However if you want to borrow money from a Lender they will want security.0
