Please tell me you aren't taking their legal team too....
was going to say that as well.
I ha a quote from an EA for their survey, 1000 pounds, I got mine for just under 600, see the difference?"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

Generally, they are commission based, will more likely choose products which will net them more money
They get recommended via EA and they pay the EA. Guess who pays for this?
They are not all Whole of the market
They are an EA service
did I mention they are an estate agent service?
First (Countrywide, as it happens, though 17 years ago so may have changed) was very efficient. I believe she chose me a good mortgage, though wasn't as clued up then as I am now. Don't believe I paid a fee directly. Sold me an incredibly expensive mortgage protection package.
Second was very inefficient. We were tied in on mortgage provider so he couldn't do much wrong with chosing me a mortgage. Still he managed to not chose the best product on offer despite, I presume, commission for him being the same on both. I paid some sort of fee but apparently got a bigger discount from the vendor for using him (i.e. there was something that seemed like a con going on). Didn't get mortgage protection through him so avoided that expense this time.0 -
Nope. She never even mentioned using the EA legal team.0

Nat west were very good last year when we got a mortgage through an independent broker. Very efficient, from DIP to offer took us about 3 weeks. If you've been credit checked by them and nothing comes up from the underwriters it will all be fine good luck OP. never give up on your dreams.......you never know how close you are0
