Successfully reclaimed council tax Thames Water

Hi I successfully reclaimed council tax going back 15 years after a long drawn out fight to get re banded.
I asked Thames Water if I could claim back money from them, as water bills are set by the level of your banding in 1991.
As my banding has dropped to a D then I thought I should at least get a cheaper water bill now? If not a refund also?
I raised this with them and they are not in agreement. Can anyone tell me if I should be paying lower Thames Water bills as my council tax band has been lowered?

Water bills are not connected to CT bands, they are based on Rateable Values, which actually ceased to exist in 1990. So you will not be getting a lower water bill.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0
