You just have to be on the frontpage at the right time for instant surveys, they go fast, so if you get one just think of it as a lucky extra. They also won't show up if you have any adblock browser add-ons running.

Yes! Took the offer when it was 500 SBs. Have kept the app on my phone, and click each Monday to get 1 Credit. I forget, but 15 or 20 credits get you £10 Amazon GC. App isn't giving me any issues.
