Notice of Correction - remove? or will this confuse current offer?

We had a mortgage offer late last year with Halifax. I had a Notice of Correction on my Experian credit file at the time, which I know delayed things as it got referred. I have since discovered they are not recommended, due to this reason.
However, we are buying a new build and our mortgage offer is due to expire before completion of our house. Therefore, we're going to have to apply for a new mortgage product. Halifax told me they would do another credit search at this time.
My question is, should I remove the NOC now? or should I leave it alone as it was there before and may confuse them if removed? (not sure if removing it would flag up issue?).
Any help appreciated.
Thank you

What is the reason for the NOC? Is there something negative that needs explaining? If so, what is it?Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0

It was a Default. I gave an explanation. Default was from 2013 (there is a second Default as well from 2011).0

I'd just leave it to be honest. You got the offer last time.Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0
