Mobile phone is mostly used for business so that's personal use. Total for month is £13. The life insurance is funeral insurance, but a bit worried now that OR will take an interest if claims are made on my death. Would be interested if anyone knows if it's different from life insurance?
Hi again
Just wondering - does your reference to "business use" mean that you are in fact self-employed?

I would put the £20 you are left with into Electric and Oil as they are low to cover winter.
I am not sure about the funeral insurance so I would check with which ever charity advised on the bankruptcy. Unless debt doctor, fermi or one of our other lovely experts can advise.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -

Hi, I'm not left with £20. It's a minus figure

Put £12 for TV licence anyway. You don't "have" to spend it in a TV licence you can use it for anything else. I use mine for Amazon, Netflix, Sky, DVD's and anything else I can think of that would otherwise be refused an a separate expense.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

Sorry, my fault I didn't look properly. That's fine then if the OR disallows the funeral expenses then you still won't have a surplus for an IPA and if he allows it and asks how you are going to operate at a deficit just say you are going to try and rein in the groceries a bit.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -

Have you done a benefit check to see if entitled to anything else? Housing benefit or council tax support?0
