I called them this morning and asked them how they got hold of my information, the reply was 'We don't have access to your medical records' - stated BEFORE I had even made that suggestion! Why are they so defensive? Obviously I got no real answer from them apart from them saying it was a 'coincidence'. Yeah right. Something is going on here, I firmly believe that my CONFIDENTIAL medical information is being provided to a private company without my consent. I now intend to pursue this through the NHS, and I will keep you posted.

Did you have to tell your car or other insurance company about the possible stroke? I'd have thought they'd be more likely to sell on the information than the NHS.
