Work pension and a SIPP

I just thought I would post up the result of the email exchange with my Company Pension administrator for my Company DC Pension with Standard Life.

I asked whether I could do partial transfers out to my SIPP whilst still remaining in the Scheme. The answer was a categoric NO. Any transfers out whilst still working for the Business would result in my exit from the Pension scheme. It's a FTSE 100 Company.

So, I wait until I finish and then transfer!

With occupational pensions, that is often the case. it is group schemes where you find there is usually more scope for them to do it.

When would the next opportunity to enrol be after that exit?
