new mortgage lending rules

Hello,
Can anyone tell me how strict the banks are being with the new lending rules regarding gambling. I spread bet every now and again but with reasonably large sums of money (thousands). The last time i applied for a mortgage it wasnt an issue as it was before the tighter lending rules. I hope to apply for a mortgage Oct/Nov and the last gambling transactions i made were February.
If I keep my current account clean are the banks likely to look back more than 6 months these days?
Many thanks for any info.

Some lenders won't ask for your bank accounts, use a broker.I am a Mortgage Broker

As amn says, not all lenders need bank statements but most only ask for 3 months - although there are exceptions.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
