Fixed deal end date confusion

Hi All
So we have a 2 year fixed deal which we were accepted for back in October 2014 but didn't actually start paying until March 2015 due to a new build property taking longer than expected (as usual).
I've just had a statement through which tells me the deal will end in October 2016 but technically the 2 years of payments isn't up until February 2017.
Can anyone advise on when the deal will end and when do we have to re mortgage.
Thanks

It will be specified in your paperwork, but it will almost certainly end October 16. Fixed deals generally have fixed end dates, so you may get a little more or less than the 2 years, depending on your start date.0

Some two year fixed rates run for 24 months from completion, most run to a set date meaning that if completion is delayed you don't necessarily get two years on the product.
For example a two year fixed rate applied for today may have an end date of 30/06/2018 or 31/07/2018
The lenders paperwork should be correct.I am a Mortgage Broker
