Hi
I have family over tomorrow so I need to get my meal plans sorted today instead.
Happy easter everyone :icotbaske:easter_os:easter_ba
I'm basing this weeks menu around the super 6 that is just 25p and the veg the other supermarkets have on for just 28p :j
Sunday- Lamb dinner with carrots, broccoli, cabbage, minted gravy, roasties, mashed potatoes, swede and Yorkshire puddings.
Monday-LO Lamb curry with hm bombay potatoes and HM onion bhaji
Tuesday-Meatballs and chunky chopped veg in a spicy tomato sauce served with cabbage ribbon "Spaghetti"
Wednesday- Salmon fillet served with jacket potatoes and HM coleslaw
Thursday- Chicken and broccoli cheese bake
Friday-HM pizza and garlic bread (If this isn't on the menu once a week DH would divorce me :rotfl:)
Saturday-Sausage stir fry using the super 6 veg all grated or finely chopped with cabbage "Spaghetti"
I have a portion of beef casserole in the freezer that I'll make in to a pie for 1 days lunch and I'll also make a slow cooker full of vegetable soup. I'll make a pumpkin seed bloomer to go with it.
Breakfasts will be overnight oats, HM yoghurt and dried fruits or cereals.
I need to buy some fresh fruit, milk and butter. Other than that it should be a no spend week
Enjoy your Easter weekends :A

Today is salmon en croute - sounds posh, but I had a pack of just roll lingering in the freezer. They'll be enough for tomorrow as well. Seemed fitting for Easter.
I think I'll make tuna surprise on Monday - Tuna, tin of toms, kidney beans, mushrooms, peppers, and baked beans. Likely with baked potato, but I might do wedges or mash for the leftovers on tues/weds.
Thursday is likely to be bacon butties - I've bread and bacon in the freezer, so just need some lettuce and toms.
And the 31st is payday. That sounds like a classic case of premature extrapolation.

Hi
I only meal plan 2 weeks out of 3 because of hubby's shift pattern, when he's on the late shift he doesn't get home until 10ish a doesn't want a meal.
Next week he is on the early shift so here's what's on my plan.
Sunday Lamb from the Co-op deal with roast pots, cabbage from the garden, broccoli, peas, stuffing balls and yorkies.
Monday Shepherds pie with leftover lamb, carrot and swede mash and peas.
Tuesday Chicken pie with new pots, cabbage, peas and carrot and swede mash.
Wednesday spag bol with side salad
Thursday, repeat of Tuesday using up the leftovers.
Friday Fish & ChipsChin up, Titus out.0 -
Our meal plan this week is a very short one. We're away until Tuesday, and away again next Friday until Sunday!! This is very unusual for us but there are two family weddings within a week of each other and both are miles away. So . . .
Teas only
Tuesday: Roast lamb, parsnips, mash, sprouting broccoli, Savoy cabbage.
Wednesday: Lamb ding
Thursday: Lasagne and a large micro teens salad0 -
Ours go from Friday to Thursday. Here is this week's for me and OH:

Monday: Homemade chicken, leek and mushroom pie
Tuesday: lamb biryani
Wednesday: Homemade tuna fishcakes and salad
Thursday: Pan fried cod with pea puree, roasted tomatoes and roast potatoes
Lunches will be a mixture of cobs, crumpets and porridge
