Thank you everyone. I'm just gutted I didn't attempt to sort this all out years ago but I feel pregnant with my partner who is the most lovely man ever and in having a baby meant having to sort these debts out, I used to think the only way out was to kill myself!! I can't believe there had always been a way out and I'd just never looked.
Hopefully after speaking to the CCCS things will be a little clearer.0 -
Hi susie, I don't think that you will have ANYTHING to worry about.
When you made these 'payments' you were unaware of any impending bankruptcy and were 'trying to deal with your debts in the best way possible'.
I don't think that the OR will read anything sinister into the fact that you 'repaid a short-term family loan at a time when you were not even contemplating bankruptcy'.
Good luck and try not to worry.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
