Question about prize

I recently won a prize of a year supply of popcorn which I received today. Inside the parcel was 8 bags of popcorn. In the competition it didn't specify how many bags but stated the prize was worth £200. Given that they retail for 80p per bag, should I question the prize that has been sent to me? I don't want to seem greedy but I don't think 8 bags is reasonable for the prize offered.

Maybe you are going to get 8 bags per month?

You could drop a polite message to the company you won with asking how much you will receive

When i won year supply of weetabix they sent me a large box with 12 boxes in every 3 months for a year


They maybe sending out your popcorn so many at a time

If so, then it says you'll get 8 packs per month.


If not, then if you can't find the specific T&Cs, then I'd do as suggested and drop the promoter an email asking how you're going to be receiving your prize!

With year supply comps, they are usually broken up into monthly or three monthly prize arrivals, so I suspect you will get a lot more!

I won a years supply of dog food 2 years ago. I got 3 15kg sacks every 3 months.
