Help needed ASAP ... Lil one turned BM off half way through ?

Options
Hi guys help ...
My lil one added the cheese topping to the loaf after the leavening stage but turned it off by accident ... I now can't start it back up to finish the cooking stage
I've just put the pan in the oven but I'm not sure how long or what temp ?

Any advice would be great as it was starting to smell really yummy !
Thanks

Have you got a bake only facility on the BM? Can you use that.

I would suggest using your eye - It's hard to give a time with out knowing the size of the loaf/how your oven bakes/what it looks like.

If you check it every 10 mins or so, when it looks done on top you can tip it out and check the bottom - when you tap the bottom should sound hollow.

If it's not done on the bottom you can put it back in upside down - I often flip loaves anyway as a think the crust is the best bit ;)

    Hope it goes well.
That sounds like a classic case of premature extrapolation.

Thanks ... Will just watch it then ...
We have covered the top in cheese so not sure if we could flip without a complete mess ...
    It's a 750g white loaf

    Thanks

A 500g loaf is 20 mins at 220c or 200 in a fan oven, I would lower the temp to 200/180 so the cheese doesn't burn and check after 30 mins, it might need 45 with the larger loaf and lower temp.

If you turn it out it should sound hollow when it's done, you can always pop it back in the tin for another 5-10 mins if it doesn't.

Glad it turned out well, I have a loaf in my BM now, last three have been really bad. But one was ood yeast, one an ood bread mix and one I have no idea. If this perfectly weighed, fresh ingredients, and all put in the bread maker in the correct order, does not work out then I will give up.

Update.::: it's a really good loaf.

Somehow the paddle in my BM came free so instead of coming back to a lovely loaf, I came home to the smell of burning flour as only half of it had actually mixed. I'm glad your BM disaster turned out ok though!

Had lunch with our bread and OH was impressed ... I've also made a batch of HM cinnamon buns for brekkie in the morning ... All with things I already had in .. Yay
