Transfering money from AEGON pension whilst still paying into it?

I also came across an active AEGON auto-enrolment scheme that allowed a partial transfer-out (all bar £1) with premiums continuing thereafter. No fuss or bother, and no penalty or charge, a note just had to be made on the discharge form. The member in question intends to rinse and repeat every year or two.
May not apply to every scheme of course so it's best to check with AEGON.0 -

Can I ask whether they charged you for this transfer on a yearly basis and, if so, how much it the charge was?
You'd be better off ringing your scheme provider and asking them. The poster may not be monitoring this thread anymore, and even if he does his scheme almost certainly has different terms.
In general it's rare for modern pension plans to apply penalties on transfer out, including partial transfers, but you should still check. The receiving provider may levy charges on the transfer in or dealing charges for using it to purchase investments.0
