Boss taking the p*** deductions for quitting

Well I posted on another forum and got a succint response. But if you want to see what all the fuss is about, it's these two clauses in the contract which contradict each other:
Once you have completed your probationary period the length of notice you are required to give the company to terminate your employment is four weeks
And then:
Your employment may be terminated by you or the company on one weeks notice in writing at any time during or at the end of the probationary period ... This is an express written term for the purposes of Section 13 of the employment act 1996

So why are you going to be working your notice with hardly any pay? What are the deductions you have referred to?
I would also like to see what you wrote on the other forum and their succinct response. Please can you link to it?0 -
I was accused of histrionics by another poster. However, I am no drama queen. I have genuine concerns about my employer, which is why I quit. I have been proved right as bosses now withholding payment for time worked. I think it's time to leave this forum and seek real legal advice. Thanks to those who posted with constructive stuff.0

Yes, I've read the thread in its entirety. I do think your posts have been a tad dramatic, to be honest. You've also never clarified points you raised despite being asked repeatedly. Nor will you link to the other site - so I think you're also being extremely disingenuous with your comments.
No one can advise fully without all the facts. You won't give all the facts.0 -
