Tactical error by expending without having the cash for it.
Solutions include:
- Extend overdraft
- Take out a loan
If you are drawing pensions already then it really concerns me that you don't have a rainy day fund. Please review that aspect urgently.0 -

Not sure a cheque would be any safer than a credit card in such circumstances. The suppliers may have to pay a fee to the CC company but other than that, why would they not take a credit card?0
