Mortgages n ireland

Here's the deal ..
Current mortgage 19 months clear Payments several late payments before that around 25k equity
Two defaults from 5 years ago virgin media both satisfied under 100 quid
Store card several 1s on credit file max 3 1s as past 15 months
Credit card status 2 8 months ago totally clear before and after
All other accounts clean
Want to buy a second property with Ltv 75% affordability should not be an issue
Full time employed with same company 16 years
Is there any lenders that lend on Northern Ireland property's suitable worth a shot or not ?

    I highly doubt it with such recent poor history but you may be best asking on the main mortgages board to get some answers from proper mortgage brokers.

    Well we dont know the O/Ps circumstances, but needing a second property seems odd unless its for investment.

    What happened in the budget that is an obstacle to property investment? Must have missed that
    I started out with nothing......And still have most of it left:p

    Higher stamp duty on second and further houses, different higher capital gains tax for residential investment property, added to the loss of the recognition of interest payments as an expense. Yea, he's trying to curtail buy to let.

    Automatic 10% wear and tear allowance removed. Now have to provide receipts for actual expenditure.
