Adverse Credit Mortgage broker reccomendations?

Hi,

Im looking for any reccomendations on a broker for a residential mortgage, only issue is that they have to be able to deal with and probably specialise in adverse credit history and self employed income. We dont have any defaults or CCJs etc and a good LTV of circa 60%, but are having issues with high street lenders due to some irregular history and a late mortage payment from a year ago affecting our ratings.

Any good reccomendations would be much appreciated.

Grifter

Over a year ago, or within 12 months?

Is there also a complication with the self employed income - or is that straightforward?

  • Hi,

Payment was Aug last year, late by 2 days and have proof of funds were available at the time, late due to banking transfer times with holidays.
2 years good, consistent income of PAYE and dividends
Everything up to date, nothing in arrears, but a few late payments showing on a credit / card. Would need to debt consilidate credit cards as part of mortgage. no HP or finance.

Your best bet would be recommendations from family/friends, however I appreciate it may be a delicate subject.

Why not do a google search for adverse credit mortgages or try one of the review sites such as https://www.trustpilot.co.uk
