Options
Hi All,

How does it work purchasing a bitcoin on Gifthulk? Do I need anything in advance?

Thanks

  • From a quick glance at Gifthulk I'm not sure what you mean, but I've used bitcoin before... the first thing you need is a bitcoin wallet to actually store any bitcoins, think of it like an online bank account.

If you've not used bitcoin before I highly recommend reading up on bitcoin.org - it's easy enough once you know, but don't go into it blind!

Localbitcoin (dot org) is a good site also. It has protection as your money is held in escrow until the seller releases your coin. You will need a digital wallet or a wallet address to pay into. The site gives you your own wallet at first from which you can transfer bitcoins or btc as they are known to users.

As stated be careful and be sure you know what you are doing.

Be aware, you can purchase a bitcoin for around £303 right now, but tomorrow the price could go either way.

Best to purchase for immediate use, but in my opinion I'd wait a week or so to see if the price goes down.

These things can yo-yo in prices.

Wish I'd have bought these coins when they were priced at £2 each.
