Just be aware that this only counts on bottles costing £4 or more. I usually buy their own brand Australian Chardonnay which is £4 a bottle, so I was hoping to stock up on it for £3 a bottle. However they have sneakily dropped the price to £3.95 while this promotion is on, so as to exclude it! I had to hunt round the shop for clarification on this, as there was nothing on the shelf edge, but eventually found a notice with the £4 caveat!
So, also excluded are the mini bottles of wine.
In ML's weekly email he suggests a Silver Bay Point rose which he says would be reduced from £2.80 to £2.10 - this is wrong as it will be excluded from the promotion.
The best I could find were £5 bottles which then came out at £3.75, not quite as good a bargain as I was hoping for and only 20p cheaper than the full price on what I normally buy!

Sorry but thats not true, there are a few that are £3 or below including mini bottles of bucks fizz.
Not that I would buy this but just to prove the point, its £2.50 and included in the offer?

I think the advertisements are slightly misleading, because everyone shows the 25% offer, but each one does mention T&Cs and exclusions apply and these are,

† Excludes all small bottles, boxed wines, Wine Route wine, Case Deals and Wine by the Case and all wine below £4 & 9% ABV. Excludes Express stores and Scotland.

I think you will find, that if you purchase any of the ones you have mentioned Sarah, you will not get the discount.

Just tried it on the mini champagnes bottles and works fine for me.

Apparently Tesco are getting lots of people calling them after ordering 'Wine by the Case' and only realising the discount doesn't apply after going through the checkout process.

The MSE page mentioning the offer could make this clearer perhaps [especially as it currently says 'The discount will only appear on your receipt (it won't show at the checkout, but Tesco has assured us you'll be charged the reduced price).']?
