Generally not. Wages for monthly paid staff are generally 1/12th of their annual salary.0

The most likely answer is:
She's paid for the month, on the last Thursday.
That is not the same as 4-weekly on Thursdays.
On each of the 12 "last Thursday of the month" paydays in the year she will receive 1/12th of the annual salary.0 -
Good news though! You still get paid 1/12th even in February with only 28 days!0

Not my husband, he is paid last Friday of the month and get either 4 or 5 weeks of pay. End of April will be very nice. Maybe it depends on how your salary is agreed, he was given a daily rate rather than a yearly salary.0

Salary or hourly?
salary, its divided by 12, which is why we suffer after xmas with extra long wait for wages.0 -

Correct, although you don't get an extra day's pay when February has 29 days in it.

To know when and how much you get paid there are two things you need to know.
1. "pay period(s)" dates you work between from which which a payment is calculated.
Often for monthly pay the period is calendar based, but the pay is 1/12 of annual
2. "Pay day" a description of the when the pay period with be paid0
