Well done on reading my diary, sure it's full of rubbish and crazy woman ramblings!
Pennywisepoundstupid gave me the heads up on a lot of the survey sites I use and did an awesome list in her diary not long ago, worth a look if you ever get 5 mins.
Have a great day!
I have subscribed to pennywisepoundstupids diary, so will have a good look later, thank you :T (So many diarys, so little time!) I was a member of Quidco, and have signed up for TCB in the last few weeks. Aiming to use as much as possible :T I enjoyed your diary, its given me a lot of ideas to up my income, I am hoping to list some things on ebay this month to make up our overpayment!Cake looks awesome!!
Interest per day is a good one. I also found it incredibly eye opening to find out how much money I would save by finishing my mortgage early. So, I've shortened the length of out mortgage by 3 years and 9 months. Currently my monthly payment is £527 so 45 months x £527 = £23,715. That's just what I've saved from monthly payments. When you add on interest etc it could be more!!
You could buy a house in Stoke for that amount!
I got DH to upgrade his solo current account with the H@lifax to a reward account yesterday. I think I have read that you can set up a tesco savings account and set up for 2 direct debits to take the reward (and also meet the terms of the account) but I need to do some more investigating about what/how..
I tried to open a reward account for myself, but the browser crashed before I could complete!
I have earned my first 0.70p from a pr0lific survey :T
DD3 didnt sleep and the allotment is still flooded so we cancelled the chicken coop plans, but lots of planting done in the greenhouse & blog updated.:hello:Wife & SAHM of 4 children aged between 9 and 3

Your allotment sounds so lovely! My little lady is also teething! Just wondering whether you use or would consider using cloth nappies or even just cloth wipes? Am using these with my dd. The money saved on wipes alone would pay for the nappies and there is a bustling secondhand market for used cloth nappies so they can be sold on afterwards! Definitely money saving and the laundry isnt so bad! Come chat to me if you would like more info!Debts: Credit Card: €6000 ---> €5050 Feb 25 \ Overdraft: Step 3/100

I am ashamed to say I have a full box of cloth nappies which I am not using at the moment! The plan was to sell them, but I might give them another go first! I havent tried cloth wipes before to be honest, I think thats something we would be okay with doing, do you have anything you recommend?:hello:Wife & SAHM of 4 children aged between 9 and 3

Don't feel bad, in my non mse days I bought lots of new expensive cloth nappies for our twins and gave up after a few weeks
you could always do a bit of both, just use them during the day at home?

We bought them and used for a month or so when I had DS and DD1 both in nappies. DD2 didnt like them at all, and we haven't tried with DD3, its worth a try, even for just in the house like you say, we can still sell them on afterwards.
Two more small food spends - £5.95 & 3.81 - paid for the second by cash, so overpaid the mortgage with the money from the food account :T.:hello:Wife & SAHM of 4 children aged between 9 and 3

I used cloth nappies for about 2 years with my twins and we used reusable fleece wipes that just got washed along with the nappy.. ones from fleabay. the nappies saved us a fortune during those early years! that said they are not for all and you need to do what gives you sanity. for me it was going back to work and I just couldn't keep on top of the washingDFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

My plan is to try the reusable nappies tomorrow, and talk to DH about getting some reusable wipes to try too
We had a MSE day planned today, using up some leftover beef and potatoes up to make a stew, but we ended up having the stew for lunch, cooking pasta for the children for dinner, and then me and DH had Mcds later.... not very MSE, but we have been so good recently I think we deserved a treat.
I will need to alter our budget later this month as my maternity exemption runs out in May, and I have medication that I will need to pay for, as well as a dentist appointment for me and DH. I know we can buy a medical pre-payment card to save money on perscriptions, but I hadnt really factored that in just yet.
I am hoping to get some more planting done tomorrow as DD2 is at nursery, so just DD3 at home. I have been forgetting to take my iron medication for my anemia recently though and Im so tired, I might have to nap when she naps!
I decided to start running again on monday and went for a 2.5k run, a much shorter distance than I used to run, I struggled and I am still hurting today! It felt really good afterwards though so I am glad I went, hoping for 3+ runs a week and to be running 6k + a run.:hello:Wife & SAHM of 4 children aged between 9 and 3

You're doing great, fabulous cake too
Good luck with the running.0 -
I used reusables with DS2 - but always used disposables at night, because he slept better in them. He also generally used to p00 at the same time every day (fairly early on) so I'd wuss out and use a disposable for the first change too - but 2 disposables a day is still good. Re: reusable wipes - microfiber cloths (multipacks from supermarkets) can be good. Also flannels (if you have a huge pile which weren't generally used, as I did) or cut up thin-ish towels (esp for using at home)
