TSB or Nationwide

Hi all,
Have had an offer accepted on a house recently and have consulted mortgage brokers as to who would be the best mortgage provider to go with.
I have a PDL as recently as about 10-11 months ago but generally good credit history and a 40% deposit.
Have spoken to two brokers, one has recommended Nationwide and another has recommended TSB. Anyone have any experience of dealing with either provider in the context of having Payday loans on credit file?
Thanks!
