Financial incentive at work

So we have a promotion at work for a specific product, offering 5% of the sales value as a financial reward. Now if I opt to take this as extra commission it will be taxable and if I take this as vouchers I am tied to spending them in the specific shops/online.

Does anyone have a suggestion to make the most of the financial reward on offer without having to lose a chunk of it to tax?

Take the commission and pay the tax on it, extra money is extra money even if HMRC relieve you of some of it
If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales
