HTB ISA & 5% deposit?

Hi everyone, me and my partner are hoping to buy a house this year. We have both opened a HTB ISA and pay in the £200 every month. We are looking to buy as soon as possible so we are just aiming for a 5% deposit.
The houses we are looking at are around £130k. My question is can we just save up £5200 ourselves and use the government bonus as the remainder of our deposit or does the full £6500 need to come from us with the bonus just on top of this?

Also I have checked both of our credit files and in 2013 my partner had 4 late payments on a mobile phone contract, will this stop us from getting a mortgage?

Hi, I'm just in the process of buying my first home and have opted for a 95% mortgage plus the help to buy ISA. As I understand it you need to have the whole amount available ie the £6500.

I am not entirely sure how or where the bonus goes, seems to be confusion in that it can't be used for "your deposit" (paid to sellers on exchange) but is used towards your "mortgage deposit" on completion. Sure someone will be able to clarify!
