We have a large cupboard in the hallway thats like a cupboard under stairs where we keep shoes, coats etc. Its very dark and we have one of those lights that fasten on a wall battery operated but gives little light. What we are looking for is a cheapish battery operated lights (AA etc)that can give off enough light so you can see, perhaps LED. Any suggestions. Thanks
We have something like this but it isnt powerful enough

Osram do a really neat little LED light called a Dot-it. They're about £6-£7, and last 100 hours on a set of batteries. It just sticks on the wall, but can be directed once in situ.0

They've got some of the led lights in Lidl at the moment, can't remember how much but it is usually pretty good value.0
