Hiking/walking clothing?

Hi me and my partner enjoy doing log hikes in Cumbria and Lake District, I am after buying so nice and decent pants, top, coat and boots but unsure where is best to get these as where we live there is no hiking shops. Would like to get decent but not very very pricey? We only do a fee hikes a year but quite a few walks too, this year though we are going to do a lot more.

Thanks

Google Cotswold Outdoor, they are online and have lots of reduced items. Be careful when buying cheap, nothing spoils a good walk more than your waterproof jacket letting in water or your boots leaking.

I bought some excellent walking trousers from Decathlon online for £4.99 including P & P. Good range of hiking stuff online, worth a look.
Worth checking Amazon lightning deals for good hiking boots, I got some quality boots for £25.

Or if don't mind having a bit of drive, go to cheshire oaks outlet.
You have mountain warehouse, regatta, north face, jack wolfskin, timberland there.

I've found Cotswold Outdoor quite pricey though I suppose it depends what you're after. You could always search online for cheaper deals after trying stuff out I suppose.

I actually discovered Decathlon today funnily enough as mentioned a couple of times above, I was looking at some cycling gear, I wasn't overly impressed to be honest. Think I'll wait till Aldi's next cycling event, need to buy some base layer tops. Maybe you might have better luck with the type of gear you're after.

Decathlon also have a free click & collect service if you're thinking of ordering from them, free delivery over £70 otherwise. Standard delivery starts from £3.99.

I also thought Mountain Warehouse footwear is totally useless, extremely uncomfortable and impractical, their other gear might be okay though as already mentioned by britgal. Always worth trying.

I was also going to recommend Blacks though looks like the nearest one to Bolton is about 10 miles.
