Hi Everyone,

I have come here as I know people here are both knowledgeable and very friendly and more importantly honest!

My question is this, currently in the process of remortgaging with Halifax. Currently at the halfway point with optima legal as we now have the redemption figure and just about to complete some change of ownership details which they say is straight forward. The process began 24 days ago. I'm borrowing £79,000 against a property, valued by the surveyro for halifax at £110,000. My problem, I missed a payment with Barclaycard (dont think by 30 days!) and its just been recorded on Noddle. Should I inform Hlaifax and be honest or dot say anything unless its an issue, should I speak to L and C in any event who got me the mortgage?

I'm worried that due to me being absent minded that one missed payment will cause Halifax to withdraw the offer.

If anybody has any insight or advice I would appreciate it as all im doing is worrying sick!

Thank You in advance.

Damo

Halifax check all through the process, they will find out
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.
